This time last year I was flying home from Maryland from one of the most laughter-filled, God-orchestrated, creatively growing and encouraging weekends of my life. I followed EllieBe's work for years and was waiting for her to announce another workshop. As soon as she did, my good friend Liz and I had our applications in and our fangirl squeals in rehearsal. We fretted, hoped, and prayed that we would get to fly to Maryland and MEET ELLIE BERRY (cue afore mentioned squeal)!! In a few months, another fantastic girl, Rachel, and we were all in the Berry home. learning about visual storytelling and eating Trader Joe's Dunkers. Now, here we are a year later, the closest of friends.
About a month ago, during her migration to Oklahoma, Ellie stayed with Liz and I in Lawrence. We had ten days of creating, authenticity, food, encouragement, food, and adventure together. I'm without words to say how grateful I am for these friends and sisters in Christ who are pursuing this career alongside me.
Here are some portraits from our recent adventures.
