I’m Emily. I feel alive in gatherings, new surroundings and people, making&viewing art, wedding-day energy.

Through 13 years of photographing weddings, it has become more and more clear that the nuanced interactions, the loved ones present, and the unforced connection of two people getting married is very personal and very beautiful. The high pressure of wedding events can threaten to override your joy and your presence, but I am here to create soulful art and keep your experience at the forefront of my process.

Creating these photos can be peaceful, spontaneous, and fun.

I work pretty much anywhere and travel for most of the days I document, while being based in Kansas City & New York City.
